Abstract: Toleration is a privilege of the powerful. A person can tolerate only if she has power to interfere with what objects to. In this paper, I revise circumstances in which someone tolerate. argue that answer must incorporate both metaphysical and practical considerations. Specifically, when her properties ground situation finds themselves, characterized by interests. doing so, criticize Glen Newey’s analysis power.
